Bemused or Amused? Meaning

It is commonly seen that some people use bemused in place of amused. But it is wrong. Why? Read on...
The word Bemused  means confused, baffled or bewildered. This word has nothing to do with amusement, entertainment or humour.
Alexander Pope the great poet of  the eighteenth century was the first  to use bemused to describe a person who is muddled by liquor.
Now whenever you use "Bemused" always think of it similar to muddled or befuddled. Use it to describe a person who seems to be confused.
