Do not put soil on soil.

One day Kabir ji was passing through a jungle with his wife. He was walking fast and his wife was slowly following him. He saw something shining on the ground. On getting close he saw gold coins in a earthen pot buried in the ground. Some of the coins had revealed themselves and were shining brightly. His wife was fond of gold. He thought, if she finds them she could become greedy and leave the path of bhakti.

Kabir ji tried to hide the pot by putting soil on it. His wife reached there, and saw him trying to hide the coins and uttered these words, " Kabir ji do not put soil on soil. It is of no use."

Kabir ji became glad on hearing the words of his wife. He left the pot. And from that day on he followed his wife.
