A mouse is the vehicle of Lord Ganesha in Hindu mythology. It
signifies :
- Greed :
Mouse is a symbol of greed as it has the tendency to eat everything it
encounters. And it has the tendency to bite into anything thus rendering it
useless. Lord Ganesha is known to control this aspect in one’ nature. Thus
it suffices that we should only bite into an amount which is sufficient to
satisfy our hunger.
- Desire : Mouse also symbolises desire and Ganesha helps to control our desires.
As Lord Ganesha drives the mouse. He is the one who can control our greed and desires.
